Winston-Salem based PainPathways Magazine
Kicks Off Second Year with National Retail Launch Event

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., April 30, 2009 –Tonight at 6pm, PainPathways kicks off its second year in publication and its recent entry into Barnes & Noble bookstores nationwide at a retail launch party at Barnes & Noble, located at 1925 Hampton Inn Court off Hanes Mall Blvd. Free magazines will be distributed by pain physicians and medical editors.

PainPathways’ editor-in-chief, Dr. Richard Rauck, is a leader in the field of pain management and practices at the Carolinas Pain Institute where he directs the pain management fellowship program at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.

PainPathways, a national, quarterly magazine designed to inform and inspire acute, chronic and cancer pain patients, physicians and caregivers, is the official magazine of the World Institute of Pain.

PainPathways is the first and only magazine specifically for pain patients, and the ultimate resource for current pain research and therapies. PainPathways has been available nationally in doctors’ offices and pain clinics across the United States since spring 2008. Subscriptions are available online.
