The Power of Pain Foundation is hosting a free Pain Management Symposium. The event arms pain patients, their caretakers and healthcare professionals with practical health information. This includes the patient’s ability to understand healthcare communication including prescription instructions, test results, insurance forms, what to expect as a patient when receiving healthcare and what caretakers and providers can do to assist the pain patient they are working with. Special guest presenters include Dr. Matthew Doust from The Pain Center of Arizona, Barby Ingle author of RSD in Me!, Ken Taylor, Board of Directors for The Power of Pain Foundation and Cindy Wilson MA, LPC, CHT from The Center for Creative Healing.
