Pain Community News: Fall 2010

Dear APF member:

The American Pain Foundation (APF), along with other non-profit
organizations across the country, has had to reduce spending in light
of the current economic climate. In an effort to preserve resources,
there will be a limited print mailing of the Fall 2010 issue of Pain
Community News. The print version will be made available to our Action
Network leaders who have Pain Awareness Month activities planned.

We will continue to provide you two online versions (traditional PDF
and an ePub version) which will be posted on the APF website and
available for download.
If you cannot click on the PDF or ePub
links above for any reason, please cut and paste the link below into
your web browser.

The latest issue is loaded with news you can use. Some newsletter
features and highlights include:

*  The State of Pain Care in America
*  Anxiety’s Emotional and Physical Toll
*  Pain Awareness Month Kickoff and the Virtual March
*  Top Ten Tips for Making Your Voice Heard
*  Ask a Gerontologist
*  When Moving Hurts
*  Fast Facts: Multiple Sclerosis & Pain
*  ...And much more!

Limiting the print mailing was a difficult decision, but one that
allows us to continue to offer and expand our core support services,
including PainAid (our 24/7 online support community), and the Pain
Information Center among others.

Rest assured that with additional funding support, we intend to resume
printing and are committed to the future of this publication. Any
donation, small and large, can make a difference and allow APF
continue to serve people affected by pain. Please click HERE to make
your gift today.

We apologize for any inconvenience, but remain dedicated to providing
people living with pain and those who care for them with the best
information, advocacy and support possible. Thank you for your active
involvement with APF.

Warm regards,

Will Rowe
American Pain Foundation CEO
