<> About Neuropathic Facial Pain and TN (Trigeminal Neuralgia)
From: Trigeminal Neuralgia Association. A Pain Treatment Topics affiliate organization.
Trigeminal neuralgia is a nerve disorder that can be very painful and somewhat challenging to diagnose. This web page provides a description of TN and other less common nerve disorders that cause facial pain. The site also provides a good drawing of the placement of the trigeminal nerve in relation to other facial structures. Several links are available for additional descriptions of facial nerve pain, plus a 22-item questionnaire that could benefit patients and practitioners during the diagnostic visit.
