Howard Roth competed and raised funds for our efforts in an Ironman Triathlon on Sunday, November 23rd. He raised nearly $4000 in honor of his friends with chronic pain. For Grace partnered with Southern California Cancer Pain Initiative and City of Hope to hold the first annual Women In Pain conference. We assembled a world-class roster of speakers/presenters, along with performers/artists, who educated and inspired women in pain and their health care providers. Twice again For Grace swung open her headquarter doors ushering in the festive Holiday season! As LA Live slowly springs to life a mere stone's throw away, we raised a cup of eggnog to our expanded mission and more continued success raising worldwide awareness about the pain gender divide.

Due to the success of the previous two years, For Grace opened her doors for three consecutive, eggnog-toasting days to celebrate the Holiday season—and a year of wonderful accomplishments. Gifts were exchanged as well as hugs and good cheer... may 2006 bring hope, light and good health to ye all!

Willow Springs Itnl. Speedway, CA—June 2005
For Grace Medical Director Dr. Edward Carden and other vintage race car enthusiasts highlighted RSD awareness in this year’s 1st Annual VARA Enduro competition. All proceeds went to For Grace. VARA is the largest vintage and historic auto racing and motorsports organization in the US. They are dedicated to the preservation of historic and classic race cars.

Pasadena, CA—May 2005
This wonderful event, again hosted by Anne Cohen & John Dobbins, raised dollars and much RSD awareness in the beautiful San Gabriel mountain foothills. In spite of near 100 degree temperatures, “fun” was the word for this “fun"draiser!

Los Angeles, CA—December 2004
Hot spiced cider and a hot rockin’ performance by For Grace supporting artist, Stone Grether, highlighted this year’s open house. The lights of downtown LA and For Grace HQ were the backdrop of laughter and mingling into the night...cheers to an RSD-awareness raising 2005.

San Marino, CA—May 2004
This wonderful event, built on the success of the first, brought a bounty of RSD awareness to the Pasadena/San Marino community with proceeds going to For Grace. Again hosted by the dynamic duo of Anne Cohen and John Dobbins, a good time was had by all. We extend a heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Dobbins for opening her beautiful home as site for this event-- and for donating many special items for sale.

Amidst twinkling lights and holiday carols, we opened our new HQ doors to friends and supporters alike. Wonderful conversation and delicious goodies highlighted an evening that reflected upon the good work done in the past year - and the inspired efforts to come.

The Neighborhood Simplicity Circle of Pasadena held a benefit yard sale with all proceeds going to For Grace. This very successful, two-day event, hosted by Anne Cohen and John Dobbins, was a delight and brought much RSD awareness to the community.

Team For Grace got a chance to meet, mingle and dine under the stars. Esteemed speakers included State Senator Liz Figueroa and pain specialist Dr. Edward Carden. To top the evening off, we were exquisitely entertained by many of our supporting artists (Tony Westbrook, Bernadette Geib, Terri Navarra, Stone Grether and Chris Sheridan.) A wonderful kick-off event...
