Loolwa Khazzoom is the director of Dancing with Pain®, a mind-body media and education company—recognized by The New York Times as a cutting-edge resource on chronic pain. Loolwa has published health and wellness articles in periodicals including Self, The Washington Post, Yoga Journal, Natural Solutions, and AARP, and she has published articles on diverse topics, in media outlets including Rolling Stone, CNN, The Boston Globe, Marie Claire, BBC News, and Seventeen.

Loolwa has worked with leading health and wellness specialists including Andrew Weil, David Simon, James Dillard, Larry Dossey, Kenneth Pelletier, Jill Bolte-Taylor, Mark Young, Adam DreamHealer, Mitchell May, Steven Stanos, and David Bresler. Loolwa also has presented at leading institutions including Harvard University and Brown University on the East Coast and the Simon Wiesenthal Center and Skirball Cultural Center on the West Coast. In addition, she has been featured in numerous television, film, and radio programs.

In her mid-20s, Loolwa was in a hit-and-run, head-on car collision that threw her into the boiling cauldron known as our health care system. She scratched, clawed, and crawled her way out of a chronic pain hell hole over the next decade plus, and in the process, she created the Dancing with Pain® method of self-healing. Today Loolwa offers movement- and discussion-based workshops, for health care consumers living with and practitioners treating chronic pain. In addition, Loolwa blogs about her natural pain relief journey, on the Dancing with Pain® company website.
