Founding For Grace from a bed seventeen years ago today, we're proud to have raised worldwide awareness of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome - and gone on to promote care and wellness for Women In Pain as well as the gender bias in diagnosis and pain management. For Grace has signed on in support of public comments submitted to US Health & Human Services regarding their Pain Management Task Force Draft Report which came out late 2018. The comments and recommendations were made by the Consumer Pain Advocacy Task Force, a consortium of 19 organizations whose mission is to implement the NIH's National Pain Strategy to help the 50 million people in the US impacted by persistent pain. The PMTF was formed to identify best pain management practices in response to the ongoing opioid crisis.
