For February's Story of the Month, we're spotlighting Stephanie Thomson who went from the lights of the stage as a professional singer and dancer to fighting for pain care. A Canadian resident, Stephanie's new doctor pulled the opioids that gave her relief, labeling her a drug addict. But like the showbiz trooper she is, Stephanie continues to fight for her life-preserving meds.
For Grace Founder Cynthia Toussaint has been invited to join a dozen thought-leaders to brainstorm how women process severe physical and emotional pain. This two-day think tank will take place in Philadelphia on January 17-18th. The conclusions from these workshops will ultimately help women who suffer from migraines. Happy to be on board!
CRPS and fibromyalgia warrior Kristina Breen is featured as For Grace's January Story of the Month. With supreme grit and determination, Kristina fought through a dismissive healthcare system to a place where she found a "wake-up call" for her life. A place where she discovered teachers and healers that will one day bring her to remission.
