For Grace proudly announces its 2018 Change Agent Pain Summit on November 2nd in downtown Los Angeles. This invitation-only event will convene luminaries from different sectors of the healthcare system(s) that have a stake in pain care for the millions of individuals impacted in California. Our goal is to implement key recommendations from the NIH's National Pain Strategy in the Golden State. Speakers and Change Agents in attendance will include, among others, representatives from USC, Stanford, UCLA, the Samueli Integrative Health Programs, the media and state legislators.  Please link HERE to view our program.

For Grace consulted on a special segment hosted by Maria Shriver on NBC's Today show that spoke to gender bias in healthcare. Among many aspects of this troubling topic, our spokesperson pointed out the enormous bias toward women in pain that often gets in the way of optimal care. Besides describing her decades long  experience of being told that her pain was all in her head, she spoke to the thousands of women who report similar complaints to For Grace.
