For Grace leaders are Boston bound to meet with pain advocacy change agents for the November 11-12 US Patient Day(s). Pain measurement scales and descriptor language through art will be the main topics tackled to improve assessment and management for the 100+ million people impacted by chronic pain in the US. For Grace spokesperson Cynthia Toussaint sits on the USPD steering committee - and we're proud to be a part of an initiative that aims to bring better days ahead...
Due to her deep commitment to women's health issues, Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson has once again authored For Grace's resolution proclaiming September as Pain Awareness Month in California. SCR 83 passed the Senate floor by a 37-0 vote and the Assembly 75-0. The resolution was enrolled on August 29th - and we extend our deepest gratitude to Senator Jackson and her dynamite staff. The reso will be lauded at For Grace's Change Agent Pain Summit!
