California Pain Awareness Month

For the 13th consecutive year, and fourth with California Senator Carol Liu, For Grace has sponsored a pain awareness resolution - SCR 77 proclaims September 2015 as Pain Awareness Month and September 11th as Women In Pain Awareness Day. To compliment this effort, Supervisor Sheila Kuehl has done the same for Los Angeles County! A big THANK YOU to Senator Liu and Supervisor Kuehl (and their wonderful staffers!) for your care and support in celebrating September as Pain Awareness Month. It means so much to so many in California.

PainMatters.com, a leading online pain advocacy resource, spotlights For Grace Founder Cynthia Toussaint on their Pain Perspectives campaign. The article, titled Beyond the Suffering, My Battle For Grace, shares Toussaint's inspiring chronic pain journey from ballerina to bedridden to remission.
