For Grace Streams Chronic Loneliness

For Grace will host its third segment in a year-long series about Integrative Pain Care on The Mighty's Facebook Live  this Thursday, March 22nd @ 1:30pm PT. This stream will focus on chronic pain and the social isolation that ensues. Studies show that chronic loneliness is more harmful to our health than obesity and tobacco, making this issue a critical barrier to well-being. Please join this interactive segment with your comments, experiences and questions.

Pain Patient/Carer Perspectives

Pleased to share two interviews For Grace leaders recently gave in Amsterdam while working with a Global Patient  Advocacy Dialogue Group. This group aims to improve health and pain care for people around the world. Cynthia Toussaint's interview speaks to the pain patient experience - and John Garrett's focuses on the carer's perspective.

Great New Pain Guide

A fantastic new pain patient resource, A Guide to Optimizing Treatment Through Integrative Health for People Living with Pain, is now available online for all. In this guide, Dr. Wayne Jonas, author of How Healing Works, shares precious insight about navigating the healthcare system, building a wellness team, insurance issues and the patient's rights and responsibilities.  For Grace founder is a contributor to this must-read, free guide and For Grace is a resource.

Managing Pain Magazine

For Grace founder Cynthia Toussaint and her memoir, Battle for Grace, are featured in an excellent, single-issue publication (SIP) called Managing Pain magazine. This unique publication is chock-full of important pain issues that run the gamut from depression to children with pain to the benefits of movement to drug-free pain relief, on and on.  There are no ads in this magazine - and as such its messages are not controlled by commercial interests. Please pick up a copy at your local newsstand.
