For Grace founder Cynthia Toussaint doesn't like it when others get in the way of pain care. In a recent Pain News Network article, she supports a boycott of CVS and their new policy to restrict opioid prescriptions. Life was good in New York City for Woman In Pain Katie Gardner as she started what she hoped would be a long career as a healthcare professional. Then after a car accident, persistent pain began traveling up her leg, pain that her doctors soon starting dismissing even after she became bedbound. For Grace leaders will be in  Amsterdam on Monday and Tuesday (September 25-26) to participate in an ongoing Global Patient Advocacy discussion. The last discussion led to our founder Cynthia Toussaint presenting chronic pain at the World Health Organization's General Assembly in May in Geneva. We have high hopes for many more constructive discussions that will accelerate a better tomorrow for people in pain.
