I am a 42 year-old English woman living in Spain. I am so glad to have found you. I have been living with endometriosis pain for more than five years now. I have been to several “top” doctors who have told me there is no cure. One told me it was all in my mind and most women just get through the pain whilst others who might be more unstable (history of depression in my teens) might make more of it than they should. Another said, “What should you expect when you have decided not to have children?!”

I asked for a hysterectomy; they will not give me one, referring me to a psychiatrist instead! I will have to pay for it myself to get rid of this pain. I stick to a really strict diet to minimize the nightmare but I am still suffering three weeks out of every month. No one understands.
